Marcus McGovern is Director of Operations for Yes I Can Basketball. As a high school basketball player, McGovern led his team in scoring and rebounding both his junior and senior season at Covenant Day School in Charlotte North Carolina. McGovern played college basketball at Louisburg College. “Marcus wears many hats with our program” said coach Mac “he has an incredible amount of energy and his love for life makes him a natural teacher. He has impressive people skills for someone his age.”
Marcus started attending Yes I Can Basketball Camps at the age of 7, so he's well schooled in the philosophy of the program. He has an unusual knack to motivate those he's around - and his teaching style clicks with young players.
