This is no longer a secret. The “Yes I Can” Basketball League has developed a reputation as being Charlotte's premier youth basketball league. It combines professional teaching, competitive games, clean safe gyms, all in a positive atmosphere at an affordable rate.

The first day of league is devoted to evaluation and teaching. Players will be rated and then drafted. “Our goal is to have the games as close and exciting as possible. We can make this happen by doing our best to balance the talent level of the teams.” Zone defense is not allowed. Players will play strictly man to man defense. No full court pressing will be allowed, however double teaming and pressing can occur at half court. A passing game, emphasizing screening will be taught the first day of league. Games will be two, 20 minute halves with a running clock. The clock will stop the last minute of the second half if the game is close.

Prior to each league game, players will receive teaching / drills / tips from Coach McGovern and his staff followed by intense station work. Emphasis will be on skill development. Each player will then play two league games. There will be four teams in each league. Attractive uniform tops will be issued to keep.

There are no scheduled practices.

Registration Fee:
$149 for one league.

Refund policy:
A 100% refund is offered – if the request is made before the program begins. Once a program has started, no refund will be offered.
